Hatching Eggs

Please scroll down and read before ordering. Hatching egg selections are at the bottom of this page.

For 2025, we will only be offering hatching eggs by the dozen. They will be for our Heterozygous Moss Egger pens and our three Homozygous Silverudds Blue pens. There will also be a selection for a breeder bundle which is any extra eggs for the week. We cannot take special requests as we do not know what eggs will be leftover after all orders are filled.

If you are having your eggs shipped to you, please note:
**Our promise to you: We will only send you eggs that are 1 to 2 days old at the time of shipment through the USPS. We will double box your eggs, using shock absorbing foam egg shippers and send using USPS Express shipping. We will drive the distance to our regional USPS distribution office to shorten the time they are in transit, ensuring they leave our destination and are headed to your regional USPS facility in under 24 hours. We will not send eggs if our own hatch rates fall below 75% because we know that your hatch rate will always be lower than ours with shipped eggs. We have researched and learned the ways in which breeding stock needs to be fed to create an egg that will thrive during incubation. Since we know the nutritional needs of a breeding hen and rooster, we will feed our birds the highest quality feed and provide them breeder supplements/fats/amino acids needed for breeding stock. This provides ourselves and you with quality hatching eggs. We will give these birds room to free range and dust bathe. Sunlight and fresh air. An overall environment to thrive in. We choose USPS express because I trust them. My grandpa worked for the USPS his whole life and I stand by them. I know our postmasters by name and they care for our packages and the fragile indicators mean something. They have done better for us that any other carrier and I believe it is because they leave our Billings, MT distribution center with care. Express is the only option we use because an express package is hand-walked to their destination while priority package are put on a conveyor belt which tend to drop packages from such great heights. All this is to say, we will do all we can to have your eggs arrive and thrive during and after incubation and will be there at anytime to help answer your hatching egg questions.

Your promise to us: You understand that even with all our due diligence, there are no guarantees on hatching eggs. You are only buying because you understand and are willing to risk that they may not hatch. Your eggs can be rendered infertile due to x-rays, be damaged during shipping or transport, the altitude during airplane transport can increase the chance that egg will not hatch. Finally, your eggs can be subject to temperature extremes. These are issues beyond our control and are an inherent risk of hatching eggs went in a package through the mail. You are walking on eggshells wondering if all the stars will align, pun intended. So, in adding these eggs to your cart, you have done your research on how to improve your outcomes. If you are new to incubation eggs, you have practiced hatching eggs that have not been shipped. If you are a seasoned pro, you know the drill. I hope I haven’t scared you off! Happy hatching and so grateful you are here!
